End of Week

Another week comes to a close. I looked out the train window this morning, thinking about all of the different things I could do with my hour commute. I could try to rob a bank, I could fly home, I could come up with a company. I could turn around, and never enter another cubicle again. All of those things just blurred past me. I pulled out my USA Today and began to read about another mindless movie that is about to open.
So I had this thing up all day, and have accomplished very little. Maybe the secret to growing up is that you do not think about the hours you waste, the other opportunities, the other adventures that are not had. I am getting a tan under these florescent bulbs, and on this Friday trying to enjoy just that.

First Post!

So here is goes, about ten years late, but it is a start! I am 22 and I just graduated from college. I attended a very conservative school in the "south" and learned a lot. It was a good experience, not something I would go back and do, but good. Maybe all these other bloggers have this imaginative ideas and great stories of parties and forgotten nights. I do not, it was work, I studied, and I laughed, and tried to get out as soon as possible. I rushed myself right into a cubicle, where I now reside.
The gray walls are starting to encroach on my life. It is a strange existence when some talks to you over im when they are five steps away. I hope I can make it out of my 20's and this cubicle!
